There is no school on Tuesday, November 11, therefore we will not be having a PTO meeting.  We cannot move our meeting to the previous Tuesday, November 4th due to the elections (please, remember to vote) and we cannot move it to November 18 because of our Family Fun Night Out at Chuck E. Cheese's.

Holiday Contest for Earning 4 Learning    

Shop at ANY Westfield Solano store or dine at ANY Westfield Solano eatery, or even enjoy a movie at Edwards 16 and you can help B. Gale Wilson earn points towards a $2,500 gift card! 

Receipts dated from September 1, 2008 to May 15, 2009 are valid, so if you still have your receipts from September until now, please turn them in!!!  We get 5 points for every dollar spent.

From Friday, November 21, 2008 to Friday, January 9, 2009, B. Gale Wilson is having a Holiday Contest for Earning 4 Learning.  A flyer, with an attached plastic bag, was sent home with each student on Friday, November 16.  Shop and collect original receipts and place them in the plastic bag (please make sure to put your child's name on the bag).  Submit the sealed bag of original receipts into the Earning 4 Learning collection box at B. Gale Wilson's front office.  They will be submitted for you and the receipts will be returned to you promptly.  The top 3 classes with the highest dollar amount in receipts will win a pizza party!

Book Fair Safari

To everyone who came to our Book Fair and to all who helped make it a great experience, a big thank you from your PTO! 

With our sales this year, we were able to give $1000 in much needed books to our library!  In addition, the PTO earned just over $1100.

Back to School Carnival

Students, families, teachers and friends... Thank you very much for making our First Annual Carnival a HUGE success! 

The Pie-in-the Face booth generated a great deal of attention. Thank you, teachers and staff, for volunteering to “eat some whip cream!”

Middle school students were a phenomenal help.  We couldn't have done it without them!  They are a great group of kids!

And, for all the volunteers who put in numerous hours for this event to come together... Thank you!  What great teamwork!

Did You Know...

...that the PTO’s fund-raising goal has been selected?  By a unanimous vote during our October PTO General Meeting, Computer Technology was selected as this year's fund-raising cause. New computers for the Computer Lab and possibly a mobile computer lab/workstation is what we are working towards. We will keep you posted on cost and other details as they become available.

B. Gale Wilson's school web site is new and improved!  Please, take the time to visit the school web site for teacher info, the school calendar, extra curricular activities schedules and other important information. 

You can access the school web site two ways:

Just like the PTO web site, it is a great tool to keep yourself informed of your child's/children's school environment.
